How to open two Roblox windows

Desktop Roblox is a single-instance app, so a second Roblox window is blocked on purpose. This page explains what MultiRoblox changes. For clicks, use the accounts guide.

Why the first window blocks the second

Desktop Roblox Player is written so one copy owns the session. A second launch is supposed to focus the existing window. That is why “I clicked Play twice” is not a broken install. Browser profiles and extra Chrome users do not change that, because the bottleneck is the Player process, not the tab.

What the helper changes

MultiRoblox is an unofficial Windows helper. It does not ship a private Roblox client and it does not inject into games. It only tries to let additional Player processes start on the same Windows login so you can sign into another account you own.

Each extra window is still a normal Roblox client: it still talks to Roblox servers, still uses your GPU, and still counts as a full session. There is no free performance. Two windows roughly means two shares of RAM and two 3D views.

When you should not use it

If two windows is all you need, prefer Microsoft Store Roblox next to desktop Player. If you need OS isolation, that is a VM problem, not a second Player problem. If you wanted scripts, speed, or items, this project will not provide them — and sites that claim otherwise are the usual malware pattern. Read safety.

What still applies

Roblox Terms of Use still apply. So do experience rules. A second window is not a moderation shield. After a Player update, unofficial helpers can fail until they are patched; that is expected, not a “virus block.”
